Some people might not find any of this exciting. But it thrills me to bits.
It started with Eden. They launched a Telegram bot and I got all giddy about it — within a few hours I'd burned through my entire AI quota. How disappointing. Eden Has Crashed and Burned
I picked up again with Tana. Their AI allocation lasts considerably longer. I haven't run out of credits yet, which is something of a miracle given my track record.
Then, this week, a perfect storm of email updates sent me racing over to Claude Code. I decided to sign up for Pro.
Partly because there was some cool stuff going on with Obsidian. I hooked everything up and got Claude to go through all the notes I'd been accumulating for a book idea. It streamlined them, de-duplicated the many duplicates, created a Manuscript Map and saved me hours of work trying to see the wood for the trees. Very happy days.
I've also set up a Telegram bot that links to Obsidian. It lets me capture quick notes on the go, which are then automatically added to my daily note. Just another little bit of fun automation — mostly just because I can.
At the same time, Voicenotes emailed to share their new integration with ChatGPT and Claude. I got that set up too.
And now I've added Tiny Dot to the mix as well.
The thing about AI is that it really does work like an e-bike — AI is Like an eBike. It takes you further and faster than you'd get on your own. Getting hours of book organisation done in a sitting, rather than days of squinting at duplicate notes, is exactly that kind of amplification.
I know not everyone shares my enthusiasm for this stuff. But when it works, it genuinely blows my mind.
