The decluttering, purging and letting go vibe continues. It's nothing to do with New Year but a theme that has been present for the past month or so. I'm not the only one that has been feeling this - friends are similarly afflicted. We're all cleaning, paring back, making space.
I used to declutter often when I lived alone. Especially during periods of upheaval or following endings. It always proved to be cathartic. I've already moved furniture in my study, done a deep clean, cleared away stuff I no longer need. I'm working my way through the house.
It seems as thought I'm tapping into some Zeitgeist too. So many people using the word analogue and embracing a more offline lifestyle. To me, it's about rediscovering a life we all used to lead, pre-digital. It's funny how so many are walking the same path.
